Sires and Dames is a local Black-owned business that makes and sells natural scrubs & body butters, bath salts, massage oils, and soy candles. Nubian Markets was the first retail shop to carry Sires & Dames, and they have been flying off the shelves. Whenever the owner Sheena comes in to sample her scrubs in the store, the grocery transforms into a space for self care; customers leaving with the softest hands they’ve ever had.

Sheena Pierre, owner of Sires and Dames, resides in Stoughton MA with her 2 daughters, ages 22 and 14. She has been a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for close to 19 years in the greater Boston area. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, she started Sires and Dames. While work became more strenuous and stressful, she developed an all-natural product line that not only had great skin benefits, but also allowed for in-home pampering. Shortly after, she developed blends of essential oils for hand poured candles, for added self care. She has participated in numerous pop up shops and has even hosted her products as wedding, bridal shower, and baby shower favors.
